PRAGUE SHORTS SELECTION : What a Star Can See
A black comedy about traditions, sorrow, and dying trees, the story of two developers trying to incorporate the European Union into a computer game, one afternoon in a Tehran park during a total solar eclipse, a silent film about a Brazilian cleaning woman’s relationship to the launch of the first manned rocket, and a surprising look at freedom on top of one of the tallest cranes in Lebanon. Pragueshorts presents its selection of some of last year’s most successful short films, including the winners from Locarno, Sundance, and Cannes.
