MEZIPATRA: Matthias et Maxime

Matthias et Maxime sont amis d'enfance. Matthias fréquente la même copine depuis un moment alors que Maxime s'est entiché d'une collègue de travail. Xavier Dolan

Xavier Dolan a commencé sa carrière d'acteur à l'âge de quatre ans. Il s'est fait connaître à l'âge de 20 ans avec son premier film, J'ai tué ma mère (2009), qui a remporté trois prix à la Quinzaine des réalisateurs à Cannes. Ses films suivants - Heartbeats (2010), Laurence Anyways (2012), Tom à la ferme (2013) et Mommy (2014) - ont également été couronnés de succès lors de prestigieux festivals internationaux, dont Cannes et Venise. Matthias & Maxime (2019) est le huitième film du réalisateur.

Xavier Dolan (b.1989) started his career as an actor at the age of four. He made a name for himself at the age of 20 with his debut I Killed My Mother (2009), which won three awards at the Director's Fortnight in Cannes. His following films – Heartbeats (2010), Laurence Anyways (2012), Tom at the Farm (2013) and Mommy (2014) – have also been successful at prestigious international film festivals, including Cannes and Venice. Matthias & Maxime (2019) is the director's eighth film.
