In the country, Jack plays the role of a respectable gentleman, but in the city he lets loose under a false identity. His friend Algy takes inspiration from him. But when both men try to impress two well-bred young ladies, they soon find themselves caught in a web of lies that is difficult to escape.
This joyful new production of Oscar Wilde’s most celebrated comedy brings together three-time Olivier Award winner Sharon D. Clarke, current Doctor Who Ncuti Gatwa (also known for Sex Education), Hugh Skinner (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) and Australian talent Eliza Scanlen (Little Women, Babyteeth, Sharp Objects).
