Escape from the Zone

Following a serious radiation leak, the area surrounding the nuclear power plant descends into chaos. The situation is rapidly deteriorating, and help does not reach everyone. Desperate civilians must face not only the threat of radiation, but also human cruelty. Among them is a mother (Jana Šmejkalová) fighting to survive and protect her daughter, Viky (Viktorie Holinková).

As the army abandons its final attempts to evacuate the area, soldier Ondřej Valenta (Martin Uhlíř) defies orders and enters the contaminated Zone, determined to save as many survivors as possible. He is accompanied by a skeptical partner (Roman Pásek), who has his own motives. When they discover an abandoned little girl – Viky – Valenta decides to get her to safety at any cost.

Their attempt to escape the Zone soon turns into a ruthless fight for survival. Radiation, violence, betrayal, and the burden of their own conscience put the characters through trials they could never have prepared for. Can the courage of one individual change the fate of those whom everyone else has already given up on?
