60 let sekce Týden kritiky canneského festivalu v Praze

Týden kritiky (Semaine de la critique) je paralelní sekce filmového festivalu v Cannes, která byla založena v roce 1962 svazem filmových kritiků (le Syndicat Français de la Critique de Cinéma) a která se od té doby snaží objevovat mladé filmové tvůrce a dává prostor jejich prvním celovečerním filmům, ať se jedná o debut či druhý film. Týden kritiky tak objevil takové tvůrce jako Ousmane Sembene, Jacques Audiard, Ken Loach, François Ozon, Wong Kar Wai, César Augusto Acevedo, Juila Ducournau, David R.Mitchell, Santiago Mitre, Jeff Nichols nebo Rebecca Zlotowski.

U příležitosti šedesátého výročí svého založení cestuje Týden kritiky napříč kontinenty, aby představil divákům celého světa výběr filmů posledních ročníků a zvýšil u mladé generace povědomí o filmové kritice a jejích výzvách v době nových médií.

Workshop o filmové kritice pod vedením Miquela Escudero Diegueze. Prezentace úvodní linky výběru filmů na Semaine de la Critique (Týden kritiky), za účasti studentů FAMU a Univerzity Karlovy v Praze.

Dvacetiletý Patrick se rozhodl ukončit svůj život. Během jeho hospitalizace, kdy zůstává v kómatu, se celá jeho rodina se setkává v buržoazním domě na jihu Francie.

Miquel Escudero Diéguez je programový pracovník, filmový kritik a člen výběrové komise v Semaine de la Critique du Festival de Cannes (2020 - 2022) (Týden kritiky festivalu v Cannes 2020 - 2022). Vytvářel program pro filmový festival Entrevues Belfort (2020 a 2021) a Cinechilex, asociaci chilských filmařů a umělců žijících v zahraničí, kde spolupracuje s Pamelou Varelou. Lektor a konzultant pro řadu projektů: la Fabrique Cinéma du Monde Francouzského institutu Rawi Screenwriters Lab of Royal Film Commission of Jordan, jeho články byly též publikovány v Sofilm (Francie a Španělsko), Dirigido Por a Caimán Cuadernos de Cine.

//ENG// 60th anniversary of Cannes Critic’s week in Prague

Since 1962, when it was created by the Syndicat Français de la Critique de Cinéma, la Semaine de la Critique, a parallel section of the Cannes Film Festival, has been dedicated to the discovery of young cinematographic talents, by honouring their first and second feature films. Ousmane Sembene, Jacques Audiard, Ken Loach, François Ozon, Wong Kar Wai and more recently César Augusto Acevedo, Julia Ducournau, David R. Mitchell, Santiago Mitre, Jeff Nichols and Rebecca Zlotowski have all been revealed at La Semaine de la Critique.

On the occasion of its sixtieth anniversary, La Semaine de la Critique travels to all continents to present the films selected in recent years to audiences around the world and to raise awareness among the younger generation about the challenges of film criticism to guide the viewer in the age of new media.  The film critic education programme offered in Prague is organized́ with the French Institute-Kino 35, the cinematheque PONREPO and the FAMU film and tv school.

Miquel Escudero Diéguez is a programmer and film critic, member of the selection committee of La Semaine de la Critique at the Cannes Film Festival (2020-22). As programmer he worked with the Entrevues Festival in Belfort (2020 and 2021), as well as  with Cinechilex, the association of Chilean filmmakers and foreign artists, where he works with filmmaker Pamela Varela.  He has been a reader and consultant for projects, La Fabrique Cinémas du Monde de l’Institut français, the Rawi Screenwriters Lab of the Royal Film Commission of. His articles are published in magazines such as Sofilm (France and Spain), Dirigido Por and Caimán Cuadernos de Cine.
