Mia keeps her life under tight control. She is building a successful architecture firm and has just announced engagement to her long-term partner. What could possibly go wrong? You guessed it! Just like in any proper romantic comedy, this carefully constructed idyll begins to crumble as quickly as patriarchy at a queer festival. And, as always, her father is to blame. There is also the mysterious, wild girl with electric blue eyes… Will Mia be able to resist her desires, or will she dare to turn her life upside down? This iconic lesbian romance is driven by the lively chemistry between its leading women, the picturesque atmosphere of the Scandinavian countryside, and the intimate camera that quietly reveals the complexity of human relationships. But in the end, it comes down to one thing: will sense win over sensibility?
