2021, Afghanistan just before the Taliban’s return. Naru, the only camerawoman at Kabul’s main television station, struggles to gain custody of her three-year-old son after leaving her chronically unfaithful husband. Convinced that there are no good men in her country, Naru is taken aback when Qodrat, Kabul TV’s most prominent journalist, offers her a professional opportunity. As they crisscross the city reporting on its last days of freedom, a spark ignites between them, and Naru begins to question her beliefs: could there actually be a good man out there?
